Kirkman's Nu-Thera® Hypoallergenic Capsules and our EveryDay™ Supplement are Kirkman's lower potency multiple vitamin and mineral products. When compared to our Super Nu-Thera® line. Since both of these products are formulated into small number three capsules for ease of swallowing, some of the bulky nutrients which take up a lot of space inside the capsule can not be put in these products in the optimum potencies needed by some individuals. Additional supplementation is therefore recommended for these nutrients including calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and vitamin E. In order to make it easy for the parents to supplement these additional amounts using only one product, Kirkman has formulated a Nu-Thera®/EveryDay™ Companion which includes the correct additional potencies of these nutrients. In addition, this companion product contains the trace minerals which most traditional vitamin and mineral supplements do not include. These trace minerals can be important to good health and are gaining the support of physicians when recommending a complete nutrition program. The components of the Nu-Thera®/EveryDay™ Companion Supplement and the rationale for its inclusion are as follows:

• Calcium 750 mg. (Carbonate-Citrate-Chelate complex)
  Children need at least 800 mg. of calcium daily. Those on a dairy free diet have a very difficult time getting this amount of this important nutrient which is necessary for proper growth. Kirkman uses a calcium complex supplying three different calcium sorces.
• Magnesium 50 mg. (Glycinate)
  This important nutrient helps produce a calming effect and relaxes nerve impulses.
• Vitamin C 500 mg. (Ascorbic Acid and Sodium Ascorbate)
  Vitamin C is essential for a healthy immune system and for the removal of toxins from the body.
• Vitamin E 100 IU (dl-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate)

• Zinc 5 mg. (Citrate)

• Nu-Thera®/EveryDay™ Companion Supplement is a bland tasting powder and the dosage is ¾ teaspoon (approximately 3.6 grams) per day. Silicon dioxide is added as an anti-caking agent. The powder can be mixed with juice, lemonade, kool aid or other suitable liquid. It mixes in very well and imparts no bad taste. It can even be mixed in carbonated beverages like colas or 7-up but be careful---it makes them fizz a lot. Add it slowly.
